The Australian Government provides a national workplace relations system under the Fair Work Act. This system protects the pay and conditions of all workers as well as promoting and supporting safe working arrangements. If you have concerns about your pay, award, working conditions, leave, entitlements or any aspect of your employment, you can contact the Fair Work Ombudsman for advice.
In Western Australia the Labour Relations division of the Department of Commerce also works to encourage flexible, fair and productive work practices and can offer advice and support.
